CEDAR FALLS, Iowa (AP) - Authorities say four teens have been arrested in a mailbox bombing that damaged several homes in Cedar Falls. Police say the homemade bomb exploded late Saturday. No one was injured but shrapnel damaged five homes. Some cars parked nearby also were damaged.

WATERLOO — Four juveniles escaped from the North Iowa Juvenile Detention Center on Dunkerton Road north of Waterloo after assaulting a worker there Saturday night. All four were recaptured after a pursuit by multiple law enforcement agencies.
